1+1= 3. “The whole is greater the sum of its parts” is not exactly a new philosophy, so why so much friction in our music scene? Why compete with ego’s and live on islands of self preservation, when we can propel ourselves so much further and faster when working with others who know what we don’t? And why not offer up yourself: quid pro quo, where you can, to show your gratitude and fill the void for another to accomplish their goals? We need to meet each other! Managers/Rehearsal Spaces/Promoters/Studios/Producers/Musicians. TV shows need Bands/Acts/DJ’s. Acts/bands/Dj’s need promoters and Visa Versa! Writers need session players. Writers need writers. MUSICIANS NEED MUSICIANS!!! You get the picture.
